Our guide will take care of you in the most visited place in France and will lead you through a shorter line to the elevator. First stop is on the large 2nd floor. From there you can contemplate Paris at your feet. We want you to have the best experience and memories to bring home so not only will your guide tell you all about the history of the Eiffel tower, but also you will learn all about the main monuments in the capital. Ask them what you’re looking at and they will tell you. Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, you will be lead to another elevator to the summit of the tower. Our agency is among the few companies that take you there because we want you to have the best memories.
When you are done admiring the breathtaking view over the city of light, you will now be able to see it from another amazing point of view : the river Seine. A 2 minutes walk will take you on the decks where you can board a boat. The experience will be complete when you sit down and sip the glass of Champagne included in the booking Memories did for you. We are certain you will agree there is no better way to discover Paris from top to bottom.
Iconic symbol of Paris, the “iron lady” is probably the most famous monument in the world. Anyone who comes to the city of light wants to see it and climb to the top. Meet your guide at Trocadero, a place on a hill facing the Eiffel tower. From there, you will have the best and clearest view over it. It is the perfect spot for Memories guides to introduce you to the Lady of Paris. Memories DMC France took extra care for you to have the best English-speaking guides, experts on the tower and moreover on the history of all the monuments in Paris. This place is full of fun anecdotes and Memories guides know them all. For instance, you will learn how, when visiting Paris after he had won the war, Hitler, although he asked for it, couldn’t go up the tower. Also, when knowing the fame and witnessing the beauty of the tower, it’s hard to believe how ill-received it was in the first place. First building of its kind, made solely of metal, it seemed an insult to the complex and well adorned capital of France. Artists and intellectuals signed petitions to have it removed after its inauguration for the world fair of 1889. Authorities were wise enough to resist them and today, it is the proud symbol of the country.
Once you know more about the tower, you will be ready to go up. Of course our guide will lead you to a special entry, so you skip the long line and have more time to enjoy the view from every angle of the tower.
You will have the best possible view to appreciate the marvels Paris has to offer. From the Sacred Heart of Montmartre to the dome of the Invalides or the Arc de Triomphe, all the city is at your feet. Your guide will point out all the main buildings and tell you about them so when you stroll later in Paris, you will know what you are looking at. Then, unlike most companies that bring you to the 2nd floor and let you down from there, Memories wants to take you to the summit because we believe you deserve a full experience. After all, Gustave Eiffel himself had his apartment on top of his building ! You will then take the elevator to the highest point in the capital and you can bring that amazing memory home.
Finally you can board a boat at the foot of the Eiffel tower whenever you feel like it. Just choose your timing and enjoy a wonderful cruise along the river Seine. What better way to really feel you are a special guest in France than to be sipping a glass of Champagne while enjoying your cruise ? Well, there are none so we thought we might offer you this experience that will remain engraved in your memories.
