Tour Description

Meet your friendly, local guide and small group at a location close to the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a short stroll to the base of the Tower as your guide tells you the fascinating stories behind this radical structure and her creator, Gustave Eiffel. Built for the World’s fair of 1889, the Eiffel Tower was at first reviled by the Parisians and almost torn down, but she defied her critics, outlasting them all to become one of the best-loved monuments in the city, if not the world.

Nowadays crowds from all over the world flock to see her, but with our expert guides you can do much more than that. Bypass the long lines and go straight to the second floor, offering some of the best panoramic views of the city. Your guide will point out the most famous sites and monuments, offering not only historical and cultural information, but also tips on the best ways to visit the unmissable sights of this beautiful city.

Montmartre, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and the golden dome of the Invalides – the whole city is at your feet. And it doesn’t end here. Your guide will take you to the very summit of the tower. After all, Gustave Eiffel himself had his apartment at the top of his inimitable building! Peek into his private apartment or treat yourself to a glass of champagne, a visit to the top of the Eiffel Tower is sure to be one of the highlights of your visit to Paris.

Please do not go under the tower. Call us if you cannot locate the meeting point on +33 802 230 206

Does the ticket allow me to go all the way to the summit?

Yes your ticket is a summit access ticket.

Will we skip the entry lines?

We have a pre-reserved entry reservation at a specific time. This allows us to skip the lines for the tickets. Please note that there are tight security procedures in place at the Eiffel Tower, and there will be some waiting as we go through these. The staff of the tower manage the reserved entrances and we have to comply with their instructions.

Will we skip the lines to the summit?

There is no skip the line access to the summit of the Eiffel tower, not for anybody! There is only one elevator, and everyone needs to wait in line here. The main elevators will take you to the second floor, there we all need to exit and change to the single elevator that goes to the summit..

Do infants need a ticket?

The policy at the Eiffel Tower is that infants do need a ticket. However babies that you can carry are generally let in without one. This does depend on the staff at the Eiffel Tower on the day and we have no control over this.

Can I take a stroller?

According to the rules of the Eiffel Tower strollers must be folded up and small children must be carried.

What is the best time of day to take this tour?

That really depends on you! The Eiffel tower can be a very different experience during the day and at night, some people will even do both!

Are there any special security restrictions?

You will need to go through an airport type scanner. Bottles, large bags, knives and flags are not allowed. Please check the official website of the Eiffel Tower for the full list of prohibited items if you have any doubts.

Is there storage for bags?

Large bags are not allowed and there is no storage on site for them.

I missed my Eiffel Tower tour, can I use the ticket at another time?

Tickets are timed and must be used at the pre-booked entry time. If you miss the entry, the ticket becomes invalid and cannot be used.

Can I stay on the tower after the tour?

You can remain on the tower after your tour. However please be aware that once you have come down from the summit to the second floor you are not able to go back up to the summit again.

Does the tower close in bad weather?

In cases of high winds, storms or thick fog the Eiffel tower may close the summit. If this happens you will automatically be refunded the difference in cost between a second floor and summit access. Your guide will ensure that you get the full guided part of the tour and will point out all the Parisian landmarks from the second floor viewing platform. If the tower closes completely and the tour is unable to go ahead due to their decision to close, you will receive a full refund. Please note that if the tower is open, our tours go ahead in all weathers.
